Foundations reception Monday, Nov. 4, 5-7 p.m. | Hugh McPeck Gallery Join us at the opening reception for Foundations, an art exhibition featuring works from first- and second-year students in the UAA art program.
Open Mic Night

Showcase your talent to the world at our monthly Open Mic Night event! We even have
Karaoke! Sing, play an instrument, tell a joke, juggle - we're open to it all!
Fall Career Fair

The First Rainbow Coalition
Wednesday, Nov. 13, 7-9 p.m. | Multicultural Center (RH 106)
In 1969, the Chicago Black Panther Party began to form a multi-ethnic coalition with
the Young Lords Organization and the Young Patriots. Free screening, with short discussion
to follow.
Cosplay Dance
Thursday, Nov. 14, 7-9 p.m. | Student Union Den
Check out this semester's Single's Dance (though everyone's invited!) - Cosplay themed.

The Public Screening
Saturday, Nov. 23, 2-5 p.m. | Loussac Library
An act of civil disobedience turns into a standoff with police when homeless people
in Cincinnati take over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold. Movie
followed by a panel discussion on the role of public spaces.
USUAA Thanksgiving Feast
Thursday, Nov. 28, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | Gorsuch Commons
USUAA's annual Thanksgiving Feast is free for students, faculty, staff and Anchorage
community. Donations welcome, but not required.
