FILM: Always in Season
Wednesday, Feb. 5, 7 p.m. | Rasmuson Hall, Room 106
Descendants of the victims and perpetrators of lynching work together to heal a violent
history. Blending observational footage with first-person testimonies and expert input,
the film examines the lingering impact of lynching and the link between this historic
form of racial terrorism and the racial violence that exists today.
SINGLES NIGHT: Anti-Valentine's Day Dance
Thursday, Feb. 6, 7–10 p.m. | Student Union, Den
I'm not yours, you're not mine — be my Anti-Valentine! Please join us and celebrate
being single with free chocolate fountain, cookies, pizza and break-up songs! Couples

Healthy Sexuality Fair

COMPASS WORKSHOP: Put it to the Test

We understand the stress of studying for an upcoming test, and we want to help you
prepare as much as possible. This workshop can help you develop strategies for taking
tests as we talk about different tips and tricks that you can put to the test.

KRUA Valentine's Day Anniversary Broadcast
Monday, Feb. 24, from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
KRUA 88.1 FM is hosting a 24-hour live broadcast to celebrate its 28th anniversary.
The broadcast will feature various volunteer DJs, giveaways, and special programming

2020 City-Wide Career & Job Fair

to hire local talent at the 2020 City-Wide Career & Job Fair!
RAD Women's Self-Defense
Feb. 22 and 23, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) is a self-defense course designed to teach women
how to defend themselves. This training teaches realistic tactics and techniques to
increase awareness, intervention, risk reduction, and risk avoidance while providing
some basic hands-on defense training. This is a 12-hour class broken up into shorter
sessions. You must be able to come to all sessions to participate. Attendees should
bring water and snacks, and wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely.
Open to anyone that identifies as a woman.
Emerging Leaders Program

Communication Skills for Safe Dating
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2:30–4:10 p.m. | Location TBD
This program is geared towards parents, guardians, and folks who work closely with
teens. We'll be discussing stages of youth development, dating, and healthy relationships,
tools for talking with teens, the importance of trustworthy adults and community resources.
The program will be hosted by AWAIC and the Office of Equity and Compliance
WINTERFEST: Nine in the Spine
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 5:30 p.m. | Student Union, Cafeteria

across campus on two mini-golf courses designed by student clubs and university organizations.
