Call for applications: Associate Director of CCEL

Faculty Development and Instructional Support seeks applications for a faculty member to serve as Associate Director of the Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL), the primary entity responsible for promoting and supporting service ­learning and community ­engagement at UAA and its affiliated community campuses. Established as a Center by the University of Alaska Board of Regents in 2000, CCEL enables the university to effectively carry out its community engagement mission while connecting faculty, courses, and academic programs with community needs. The Center advocates for and supports the use of scholarship and action for the mutual benefit of the University, the State, its communities, and its diverse peoples.

Application is open to full-time faculty members who possess either a master’s degree or Ph.D. Term, tenure-track or tenured faculty are welcome to apply.

Applications due no later than 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020.
