Our dental hygiene students provide dental services to students, staff, faculty, and community members during the academic year from September through April. Costs are less than private dental practices; however, the time needed to complete each service takes longer. X-rays are taken only at the request of the on-site dentist or with written approval from a personal dentist.

We all know that there are ever-rising education costs, the consideration of textbook affordability is an opportunity for us to support our students, and Course Reserves are one way to enhance student success. The UAA Department of Theatre and Dance is holding auditions for its upcoming show, MAPLE AND VINE by Jordan Harrison. Auditions will be held online, with audition forms and recorded monologues due by Monday, Jan. 17 at 5 p.m.

iPhone users in Alaska can now activate an exposure notification feature, Alaska COVID ENX, that uses Bluetooth technology to provide anonymous alerts of potential COVID-19 exposures. Alaska COVID ENX is free, anonymous, optional, and easy to use. On Jan. 18, Android users will also have access to ENX with an app available in the Google Play store.
