May 6: Campus Facilities Master Plan Town Hall

by Kim Mahoney, AVC Facilities and Campus Services  |

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

All UAA campuses, please join me for the town hall on the UAA Campus Facilities Master Plan update and envisioning session planned for May 6 at noon. We will be presenting some key strategies around how this master plan begins to address the problems and concerns identified through the results of a robust engagement process. Access the zoom link here.

This town hall is where we will start to put some framework around how this master plan will incorporate and is informed by the work already performed and adopted by the UAA Mission and Vision (adopted 2021 by BoR), UAA 2025 strategic plan (approved 2020) and the Alaska Native Success Initiative (adopted in 2021 by BoR). The purpose of this plan is to ensure the short range and long planning of the physical campus environment aligns with these institutional priorities and aspirations. Your participation in this town hall is important because we need your engagement to ensure we are focused on the right strategies and topics related to our UAA Campus Facilities Master Plan.

To prepare for this town hall — please listen to the short “what we heard so far” recorded session from April 22, 2022.
