An emerald tradition: Campus Kickoff celebrates 20 years

The ultimate back-to-school bash for 20 years running, Campus Kick Off will welcome the UAA community to a new academic year Saturday, Aug. 26, with a festival from 1-4 p.m. and afterparty from 4-10 p.m. Take a look at highlights from the past 20 years and preview what to expect this year.

Campus Kickoff 2023 Overview

Campus Kickoff welcomes all UAA students, staff & faculty to celebrate the beginning of the academic year. It’s an excellent opportunity for everyone across the UAA campus to connect and be in community. Throughout the past 20 years, Campus Kickoff has grown into one of UAA's most beloved campus traditions.

UAA Technical Support Center - Extended Coverage During First Week of Fall Semester

For the first week of the Fall Semester, the UAA Technical Support Center (TSC) will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. in support of our students returning to the university. Starting the second week, the TSC will return to their normal schedule of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Academic Dispute Resolution Training Canceled

The Academic Dispute Resolution Training has been canceled so that faculty may attend the Faculty Senate Retreat, which is a valued and important kick-off event for the Senate. One or more trainings will be scheduled in September.
