Irene Hilliard can teach us all a little something about overcoming obstacles. This December grad has gotten creative in the way she makes time to exercise and how she affords tuition. She's also made UAA her home away from home. Her advice? Engulf yourself in the college experience.

Environment & Society class tackles public process on proposed Northern Access Route into U-Med District

An Environment & Society class attracted nearly 100 citizens interested in an update on the proposed Northern Access Route. Students described the project's status, offered a panel discussion and gave a workshop on effective public comment.
