The newly formed UAA Rocketry team has been working since August to design and build a reusable rocket with a robotic arm, a miniature Mars Autonomous Vehicle, to NASA specifications.

Alaska WWAMI is hosting Native Voices: Native Peoples' Concepts of Health and Illness, a National Library of Medicine display spotlighting stories about how epidemics and inhibition of culture influence indigenous communities today.

Mark Skolnick is a seriously busy man. He's a full-time lawyer, as well as a UAA flight instructor with a penchant for midnight flights. But whether his day is in the courtroom or in the clouds, he's always home in the evenings for family time (on top of juggling two careers, he's also a father of three).

"Strokes of Electricity" is an exhibition of selected visual works by the renowned American folk musician and activist Woody Guthrie.
