The UAA Geology club is pleased to host the Tenth Annual Geosciences Career Fair Feb. 27, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., in the CPISB Atrium. The event will provide students and others with an interest in earth science careers an opportunity to meet and network with professionals in the geosciences community for internships, mentorship and employment.

Do you recall a moment when words escaped from your mouth that made you wish you had a delete key? In this interactive workshop, participants will focus on how innocent remarks shaped by society's negative and positive stereotypes are deemed as subtle "isms" (sexism, racism, elitism, ageism, homophobism, etc.) rather than miscommunication or misconception. Participants will learn how to manage and defuse future "Oops, that's not what I meant!" moments. Read more for registration details.
