The time has come for this year's Bill Rose Memorial Award nominations to celebrate those employees within the Administrative Services division who exemplify excellence and dedication to UAA's mission.

'Alaska Run for Women: Seawolves for a Cure!', June 7

The Alaska Run for Women is a five-mile run/walk held on the UAA Anchorage campus. Its mission is “to raise money for and awareness of breast cancer and women’s health, and to showcase the talents of Alaska’s women athletes.”

On May 16, the University of Alaska Foundation Board of Directors and UA President Pat Pitney announced that UAA journalism and public communications alumna Tlisa Northcutt had been selected to serve in the dual role of UA Foundation president and chief development officer for the University of Alaska system.
