FY19 Wellness Rebate

Good news! The FY19 wellness incentive program rebate lump sum payment will be arriving in November, just in time for the holidays. If you completed the wellness program requirements by April 30, 2018, you will be receiving the rebate. You must be an active employee enrolled on the plan in November in order to qualify. More information can be found here. Please contact Sara Rodewald at 450-8203 with questions.

Larry Foster, Professor of Mathematics & Institutional Self-Study Tri-Chair

Professor Foster gave an update on the Fall 2018 NWCCU Year Seven Peer Evaluation visit, which is Oct. 8 through 10. After spending more than 2 two years performing a broad-based campus engagement in the analysis of mission fulfillment, the Institutional Self-Study team sent the Year Seven Self-Evaluation Report to the NWCCU. The October site visit will include three open forums for faculty, staff, and students, who are highly encouraged to attend!

Please visit the Self-Study website and review at least the Self-Study Report Executive Summary and review Chapters 1, 2 (Compliance), and 5 of the Institutional Self-Study Report.

Sara and her team came to introduce us to their office and the new staff. While Title IX is something we are all familiar with due to the required UAA training, there is much more that OEC has to offer! They are happy to provide face-to-face trainings regarding Title IX and other campus cultural aspects, which have received positive feedback from fellow staff members. Staff Recognition Nominations

October nominations are open! Nominations are due the 1st Friday of every month. Don't forget that if a nominee is not selected for one month, he/she can be re-nominated by submitting the initial nomination with added attributes.

 Staff Morale Survey

The annual morale survey will be coming out via the Seawolf Daily next month. We highly appreciate all staff input, as this is a way to gather feedback that may impact university changes.
