Purpose
To set forth the delegation authority for tuition and fees.

Policy
Delegation AuthorityThe Directors/President have the authority to approve specific course material fees
and may authorize the acceptance of credit card payments for tuition and fees.
Changes to Tuition and Fee StructureRegent's approval is required before making changes to the existing tuition structure.
The President of the University of Alaska must approve administrative and student
activity fees.
Installment Plans Formal installment, deferred payment, charge, or credit card payment arrangements
must be approved prior to implementation by the Vice President for Finance. Informal
deferred payment arrangements based on the circumstances of individual students and
group or consolidated billing arrangements may be approved by the Business Managers
(delegated by the Vice Chancellor for Administration).
Delegation CriteriaCompliance with the university policies and procedures on tuition and fees.
ApplicabilityAll community campuses have the delegation authority for tuition and fees expressed
in this policy unless special limits or requirements are set by the Vice Chancellor
for Administration.
