The meeting will be hosted on the campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage located at 3211 Providence Dr, Anchorage AK 99508. Flights to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport are the easiest way to reach Anchorage. Flights are available from many carriers.

The campus is walkable to get between buildings in use during the conference. There is plenty of parking on campus. Note for Thursday events, parking requires a day permit which can be purchased at kiosks (Pay 'n Park) in the parking lots or garages.

Local transportation includes Lyft, Uber, Alaska Yellow Dispatch, Checker Cabs, and the Anchorage People Mover (bus system).

The conference will provide a shuttle to pick up conference attendees
from hotels and bring them to the conference site and back. This service will be free of charge, but can be offered only for those in hotels from C Street and International to 36th Ave to campus. Pickup will be before the first event and return will be at the end of the conference events each day. Contact the local arrangements coordinator for more information.

Guest Parking on Campus

With the exception of weekends (Friday-Sunday), holidays, and the interim periods between semesters or class sessions, all vehicles parked on the UAA campus must display a valid parking permit or Pay 'n Park receipt.

Your Pay 'n Park receipt is good for any parking lot or garage on campus.

Anchorage Weather

Anchorage, Alaska is a subarctic climate with short, relatively cool summers. Average highs in June and July are 65 degrees to 70 degrees, while the lows are around 55 degrees in the evening. This is also the land of the midnight sun! In Anchorage, the sun will "go down" but it will not get dark in the late evening/early morning. People not from Alaska can find this a little disorienting if they are used to planning their day by the suns position!
