Please note that all incoming students who wish to major in music are required to audition. These auditions are scheduled as needed, so please sign up by completing the form below. Students should prepare a solo with contrasting movements for their audition. This process helps place students into the correct level of private lessons.

Music Theory Placement Exam
In order to place students in an appropriate theory course at the beginning of their studies at UAA, each music student will need to take a theory placement exam prior to enrolling in MUS 131 (Theory I).
